
James Marquand - Director
Writer, director, and producer for Stray Dogs Productions, James grew-up on film sets observing his father Richard Marquand (‘Jagged Edge’, ‘Return of the Jedi’); later he worked as an editor on the Joe Eszterhas (‘Basic Instinct’, ‘Showgirls’) penned ‘Hearts of Fire’. James’ first short film ‘The Lesson’ (1998) was nominated for a BAFTA Kodak Award - he has since moved onto feature films, his first, ‘Dead Man’s Cards’, so impressed George Lucas, that he asked James to direct two episodes of the live action ‘Star Wars’ television show (which promises to be the biggest event in television history).

Matthew Whyte - Director of Photography/Producer
Director of Photography and Producer for Stray Dogs Productions Ltd, Matt is an award-winning cinematographer who studied at the renowned Ecole Louis Lumiere in Paris. Matt has worked on several feature films, a number of commercials, documentaries, pop and sports promos. Directors he has worked with include, Matthew Vaughan, Gisli Snaer Erlingsson, Krystian Koslovsky and Alex Cox. He forms a close creative partnership with director James Marquand and has collaborated with him on most of his films including his critically acclaimed cinematography on their feature film debut “Dead Man’s Cards”.

Sigvaldi Karason - Editor/Producer
Over the course of the last decade, Sigvaldi has established himself as one of Europe’s most renowned editors. His high profile work includes ‘Falcons’ and ‘Angels of the Universe’ directed by Oscar nominated Fridrik Thor Fridriksson as well as the critically acclaimed ‘101 Reykjavik’ directed by Baltasar Kormakur, “Dead Man’s Cards” directed by James Marquand, and his first big budget studio picture “Vantage Point,” currently on general release starring Oscar winning actor Forrest Whitaker and directed by Pete Travis for Sony Pictures. As a long time collaborator he has formed a close and invaluable creative partnership with Director James Marquand.

Peter Slack - Executive Producer
Peter has an entrepreneurial background, having a strong career in IT/ Telecoms and owning companies in Telecoms, IT, Media & Retail and is remains as CEO of Orbital Computers. He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and has been awarded the Freedom of the City of London. He is a highly driven project manager and brings productions to life with sound, secure business skills and believes in delivering a very high end product.
